South West Reflux is based in Exeter, and specialises in the diagnosis, management and surgical cure of gastro-oesophageal reflux disease, including the LINX reflux management system.
The team is lead by Mr. Saj Wajed, Consultant Upper GI Surgeon, who specialises in anti-reflux surgery and has extensive experience in this field. He was the first surgeon in the UK to successfully offer the LINX procedure to NHS patients.
All services are available for both Private and NHS referrals.
Exeter is a fine Cathedral, University and former Roman city located in the heart of South West England, an area of famous for its outstanding natural beauty, coastline and countryside.
It is very easy to get to by road (M5, junction 29), by train (London Paddington and Waterloo links) or by air (Exeter and Bristol Airports).
Private patients are seen at Nuffield Health Exeter, located in the very heart of Exeter itself. Routine and standard operations (including gallbladders, hernias and endoscopy) are also performed at the Nuffield Health Exeter Hospital, a modern Private facility. Nuffield Health Exeter is located on Wonford Road.
