Stretta for Reflux coming to Exeter

It was a great honour to have  been  invited to visit renowned world expert Professor Luca Dughera at the University of Turin last week and observe him perform endoscopic radiofrequency therapy (Stretta). This is a new option for patients with reflux who do not wish to/are unsuitable for medical or surgical therapy. His hospitality and support was outstanding, and we would hope to be able to offer the Stretta procedure in Exeter very soon. Thanks to CJ Medical for their support.

Exeter Upper GI were delighted to welcome Prof. Munoz from the University Hospital Santiago to chair a study day on Pancreatic Exocrine Insufficiency (PEI), a common and serious problem caused by pancreatitis, pancreatic cancer or resectional / bariatric surgery. It can result in malabsorption, malnutrition, morbidity and premature death.
